1. SHOW YOUR HEART
The most cheesy tip first: think of hearts. A toast or waffle in the shape of a heart, even a fried egg might do the trick. You get nice results, especially with a biscuit mould. Then some heart-shaped strawberry slices on your toast and the picture is perfect.
2. SMOOTHY
On a holiday you can also have a healthy breakfast. Combine fruit with the colour of love in a champagne glass so it looks extra romantic! How about the next delicious (and beautiful looking) smoothies?
- Apple, cherry and cranberry juice
- Banana with raspberries
- Greek yoghurt, watermelon and pink grapefruit
- Green apple, cucumber, orange and strawberries
3. BE ORIGINAL WITH EGG
A standard breakfast, includes a boiled or fried egg. Much more original, however, you make it with an oven-baked egg for one person. Just take a soufflé bowl (or another ovenproof dish), put some ham, cheese and paprika at the bottom, on top of that the raw egg and some fresh herbs. A few minutes in the oven and you have another nice dish to score with!
4. EACH HIS WECKPOT
A trend of recent years is the meal in a jar, a meal in a weckpot. That also works perfectly for breakfast. For example, first fry some nuts and seeds in the pan until they are nice and crispy. Cut some fresh fruit. Choose your partner's favourite yoghurt and granola and fill the pot in layers. Not only does it look nice, you also avoid crumbs in bed!
5. START THE DAY WITH A COCKTAIL
6. BREAKFAST SET
You can' think of Valentine's Day without a present? Combine it with your breakfast. Buy a cozy mug, a nice bowl for breakfast cereals, a small tea or coffee pot, etc. It's something different!
